What do we mean by environment?

An environment is simply a place where people come together regularly to live, work, study or play. The relationships and the people around us in our environment affect how we feel. In homes and at work, school, hospital and prison, the kind of relationships we find and create can have a big affect whether our team or organisation do well. 

Adelaide House is committed to ensuring that the relationships within our environment are enabling to all.

We deliver weekly Enabling Environments awareness sessions where everyone is encouraged to contribute to the development of our environment.

There is also a catalogue of images on display in the corridors, outlinging our commitment to and understanding of the 10 Enabling Environment standards.
